Últimamente me he leido un libro muy divertido de Tom Sharpe: reunión tumultosa. Después de ver la película de Truman Capote me leí de tirón el libro A sangre fría.
Estoy acabando el ABC de la felicidad, de Lou Marinoff, autor entre otros de Más Platón y menos prozac, y del que he visto que hay un encuentro digital en el mundo, lo que me ha llevado a escribrir algo en el blog. Podéis echar un vistazo (aquí) e intuir algunas de las opiniones que se comentan en el libro (pocas porque es un libro de unas 900 páginas....)
Empecé el libro de la historia de rampa, lo dejé por la mitad y supongo que ya que estamos lo acabaré por curiosidad. Trata la historia de un lama tibetano, lo cual me pareció interesante por mi creciente interés por el budismo y las filosofías orientales. Hace poco leí que aunque el libro trata de ser una historia verdadera en realidad no fue escrito por un lama sino por un escritor irlandés, pero eso es otra historia...
Y bueno, encontré por casa el libro de Un mundo Feliz, que dejé a medias porque leer en la psp era un coñazo (el ebook reader cascaba cada dos por tres), asíq que lo seguiré leyendo hasta acabármelo.
Y finalmente de vez cuando le pego al libro de ensayos impopulares de Russell, que como son ensayos inconexos siempre puedes acercarte y leerte uno. De uno de ellos saqué mi curiosidad hacia el utilitarismo, por lo que he sacado el libro de mismo nombre de Jhon Stuart Mill hoy de la biblioteca y lo empezaré antes de irme a dormir.

Play quietly and don't recite the numbers you desperately want to come off because you'll be much of a disturbance if you do. Decorous playing is expectant of all players, even those who play roulette at casinos. Also, having a valid identification is important because you don't know you might win and need to present credentials.
